The City of Fountain Green is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) for a procurement of upgrades and improvements to the Fountain Green City Park. The project is funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The City will select one (1) bid for upgrades and improvements to the Fountain Green City Park, which is located at 351 W. Center Street, Fountain Green, UT 84632.

This project will include: The addition of two (2) Pickleball Courts installed under an already existing 10,092 sq. ft. bowery, replacing a fire pit and BBQ grills with a 30X60 sq. ft. Sand Volleyball Court, and replacing the current playground jungle gym with new playground equipment and safety surface material.

This project is funded in part by a grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons and small businesses. Local, minority and woman owned business owners are encouraged to bid. The lowest responsible bidder will be selected.

Bidding documents and specifications, including Davis-Bacon Wage Decision information, may be obtained from the Fountain Green City office located in the city building at 375 N. State, Fountain Green, Utah 84632, beginning November 27, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. or on the city website – fountaingreencity.com. If the award is not made within 90 day of Davis-Bacon Wage Decision notice, the wages are subject to change.

Sealed bids will be received at the office of Fountain Green City, 375 N. State Street, Utah 84632 on or before December 7, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the City Council Meeting of the Fountain Green City Council to commence at 7:00 p.m. on December 7, 2023, in the city council chamber. A bid bond must accompany each bid to be considered.
